By creating an account or using Studify ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Studify. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Studify to cheat on graded work where prohibited by your school or institution.
- Upload content you do not have rights to, or that infringes on others' rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of notes, audio, and files you upload. You grant Studify a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. generating flashcards, quizzes, and transcriptions).
6. AI Output
Studify uses AI models to generate study materials. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify critical information against authoritative sources.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove your personal data subject to our retention obligations.
9. Disclaimer
Studify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee improved grades or specific learning outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Studify is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
